Schouten was a Dutch mathematician and a pioneer in the field of tensor calculus. PROVENANCE: Raymond C. Mjolsness, is possibly the previous owner of this volume. He was affiliated with the Space Sciences Laboratory, General Electric Company, Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and University of California, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico. Mjolsness and Weiss probably knew each other at Los Alamos. First Edition.
