Paperback. Book Condition: Very Good. Privately Printed, 1962. First Edition. 1st Printing. 15 pages. Nice Firm Clean copy ! Light general wear. Size: 8vo 7.75 - 9.75'' tall. Cahaba was a house by the sea in Chatham, Cape Cod. Some two hundred years old, it stood on a small bluff overlooking the blue water. It once had a V-roof and faced toward Old Harbor, which is a harbor no more. In the time of our marine wealth Cahaba was converted into a Captain's house. It had wide lawns reaching down to the shore and a cranberry bog and firs and little Cape pines and tall English yews and slender cedars and rhododendrons and laurel and many roses and a small formal garden. It had, also, the most beautiful willow in the world. Poetry::1900-1974 6090
