One page intro by theater and film producer Reinhardt, signed at bottom. He is regarded as one of the most prominent directors of German-language theatre in the early 20th century.Also signed by the artist Lucie Sayler. Title page browned from flap transfer with numerous edge tears; plates near fine overall -- but several with minor edge-nicks, several with light soiling at bottom edge; others with some damp-staining at bottom edge of versos. None of these flaws affecting the images, all of which have healthy margins. Inside covers toned, wear to edges, frayed at bottom of spine, damp-staining to bottom of back cover.
