Marbled boards with cloth spine, [viii], 18, [22] pp. Includes 11 mounted full or double-page b/w photographic prints from original negatives -- illustrating a variety of 19th century circus wagons. The photographs were taken in the 1950s at two amusement parks then in Los Angeles. Signed by Thomas at the colophon.
LIMITED EDITION of 150 copies, this is number 52, handprinted on a Chandler and Price Press with Bembo, Clarendon, and Old Town Display on Curtis Rag paper.
CONDITION: Lacking the original card slipcase, else Fine; no jacket, as issued.
Frank and Phyllis Thomas started Tenfingers Press in 1959, producing limited edition books and ephemera on a hand press.
