Stated 1st edition. 8vo, cloth. 264 pp. Dust jacket. Armenian dishes adapted to the modern kitchen - the definitive guide to this centuries-old cuisine. Mark Zanger, a Boston-based food reporter, wrote that Baboian's book "stands out as a model of American ethnic food because she recorded so many traditions" and was the first book to make Turkish Armenian recipes accessible for younger generations of Armenians who spoke only English. No photos or illustrations. The book itself is very good-near fine. The dustjacket is fair only: price-clipped, chipped at edges, with the back panel nearly detached. Also damp staining along the bottom edge, not affecting the book itself.
