London Ferrill, a former slave who became, in Townsend's words, "Kentucky's greatest Negro preacher." Another biography is on Kentucky African-American poet, Joseph S. Cotter. These two biographies remain as basic sources of information on two important, though little-known, African-Americans. The third biography is of Horace Holley, the third President of Old Transylvania. This publication is a stated Limited Edition of 250. It is hand numbered 220 and initialed "JWT" by Townsend.
