Now the back cover is detached, the corners are bumped and worn, part of the spine is worn off and there is a large area on the back where the surface is worn off. Gilt title and gilt fore dges are still bright. Interior is bright and clean and the tpye is large. There is no publishing information at all. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 461 pages; This is an interesting association copy. The name David Watkinson, Hartford, July 14, 1857, Second Vol. Is on the title page. It appears to have been owned by the Watkinson family, originally of Lavenham, Suffolk, England, who immigrated to Middletown, Connecticut in 1795 and became prominent in the woolen textile industry. The Watkinson Family papers are now in the Watkinson Library at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. This volume covers Acts through Revelation.
