Bread from God

Royal purple, pebbled cloth with gilt titles, decoration and border. Some edge, corner and surface wear with areas of loss at top, bottom and center of spine. Binding is loose but holding. First two prelim pages are partiall detached. Interior has some light toning, but prints are in very attractive condition. This book was probably printed before the Civil War; it is a probable first edition and could be repaired or restored. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Unpaginated pages; Book consists of color, lithographed title page followed by 10 color, lithographed prints (on rectos only) mounted within an ornate border and captioned with an approriate religious verse in gold. Lithography by F. Moras of Philadelpia. Each page is a small work of art.
