Hank Williams Country Hit Parade

Stapled red wraps with photo of Williams and title in white and black. Some edge, corner and surface wear (light scuffing) with some slitting on spine edge, top and bottom. Some songs inside have marks indicating that a previous owner used this copy to learn from. (To me this is a plus, but then I like the idea of some old boy or girl learning to pick Hank songs from this songbook.) Numerous photos of Williams, the Drifting Cowboys, Audrey and the young Hank, Jr. I cannot finr a date for this folio but the letter from Fred Rose inside the front wrap indicates that Williams was still alive and all the songs are dated eith 1949 or 1950. This is a great collection of songs with the wonderful association of names Williams, Acuff and Rose on front wrap.
