Twain ssid he translated Adam's diary, written on stone tablets of course, and lets us know what really happened in the Garden of Eden , or as Eve renamed it, Niagra Falls Park. This humorous view of Genesis is illusttated by political cartoonist Frederick Strothmann. Condition is VG- with wear to the edges, corners and spine as well as some soiling. The frontipiece has the tissue guard, though it is loose at the top. The interior is clean and unmarked except for a long gift inscription on the ffep. ; B & W Drawings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 89 pages
