Stapled thin beige card board wraps with black lettering. Wraps are toned on edges and there are chips on edges, particularly back top. Otherwise booklet is square and secure. ; B&W Photographs; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 16 pages; Small booklet given out to tourists in the Grand Canyon. This booklet was written originally in 1909 by William Wallace Bass who was a trailblazer, entrepreneur and expert on the Grand Canyon. Several trails into the Canuyon bear Bass' name. Guides who followed Bass trails, and often worked for the Bass company gave out this booklet to tourists. On the title page is a note in pencil, saying that Bass gave this booklet to its former owner at the Grand Canyon. I think that the guide was probably Bass' son or a liar or the tourist misunderstood since the author had been dead for some time by 1940.
