Fantastic vintage photos: Carl Hilmar Guenther; Bathing beauties, men's & women's fashions; Automobiles, motorcycles, Fire Trucks; River parade floats; buildings; Balloons, Airplanes. In 1944 printed sacks for ladies to make dresses. Guenther built his first flour mill near Fredericksburg, Texas in 1851. Eight years later he moved to nearby San Antonio. There C H Guenther and Son, Inc. was soon producing its widely-known pioneer and White Wings flours at a growing complex beside the San Antonio River. Filled with period photographs, drawings and history.
