Harry Tate. Fishing.

Large Advertising Poster on three sheets; total size 2310 x 1020 mm. Printed in colours for pasting onto billboards, this is a very scarce piece of Heath Robinson advertising material apparently not listed in any bibliography. Because it was intended for pasting and subsequent disposal very few copies will have survived. Recently linen mounted onto a single sheet with minor restoration. Harry Tate [1872 - 1940] was a music hall comedian famous for his sketches on golf, motoring and fishing. Digital images available on request.
