4to. 6 leaves printed on rectos only, numbered 1 - 6 [presumed complete]. Original or contemporary grey-blue wrappers with a little wear along the edges. A remarkable survival of a French trade catalogue for escutcheons possibly for carriages or other ornamental decoration. Each one is very different with several showing martial features with examples of how a person’s initials or heraldic designs could be incorporated into the central medallion.
