This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Containing 12 street ballads including The Temperance Alphabet, Interesting Picture of Drunkeness, Drunkard’s Catechism, Close the Alehouse Door, Drunkard’s Farewell, etc. Such was active towards the later part of the 19th century and here he has collected together those street ballads dealing with drunkeness and temperance from what was surely an extensive stock of printing plates.
