12mo. 85 x 65 mm. pp. xi, 228; numerous illustrations. Original black stiff paper wrappers, creased. A defective copy lacking a corner of the title page, which is loose, and with inscriptions to the title page. Henry Collins Brown [1862 - 1961] was the founder of the Museum of the City of New York and author of a number of books on the city as well as Valentine’s Manual of the City of New York. This pocket guide is described as Number Three of a series of Carry at Home travels, none of which I have been able to trace.
