The Appeal of the Unemployed!

Single sheet, 240 x 190 mm. a little worn and creased. “Oh list you feeling Christians, You’re aware where you go, There is thousands of good tradesmen Borne down in grief and woe.” An appeal on behalf of the unemployed, requesting alms. A rather fragile publication on cheap paper, it is recorded in at least one other version with almost identical text, printed by John White of Liverpool; held by the National Library of Scotland who have a digitised version on-line.
