A very formal bill of sale for $110 relating to a number of household items: one carpet $23, one bureau $15, one table $10, portable desk $10, one looking glass $10, one set cut glass $10, one set china $12, one dog chair $10, andiron shovel and tonges $7 1 set of tea boards & candle sticks $5. The candle stick was delivered “at the ensealing and delivery of these presents, in the name of the whole premises herby bargained and sold, or mentioned or intended to be.” This appears to be a standard printed property contract, here adapted for use for goods and chattels only.
