This work was so controversial that it was banned in Boston and New York, and the author was arrested for disseminating 'pornography'. With a new foreword by the author. Also with partial splits to the binding and rusty soiling to be found at various locations. Much of the spine gilding has flaked away. Volume wrapped in olive rental library wrapper (inside the Modern Library jacket). Jacket with chips, tears and soiling but mostly intact and in removable mylar protector.
