With illustrations by Edward A. Wilson and with an introduction by John T. Winterich. Sandglass leaflet laid in (NY, no. 7L). --- In blue cloth-covered boards with image of ship sailing upside-down on the bottom of the earth in gilt to cover; titling and decorations in gilt to spine; maroon topstain. Volume housed in reddish marbled paper-covered slipcase. --- With quite noticeable sunning to spine and some age-toning to leaves, otherwise a clean, tightly-bound copy. Structurally sound slipcase with a few tears but overall in very nice condition.; Small Quarto - 9 to 11 in. tall; xv, 427 pages
