With 10 plates bearing black & white illustrations of various ships, and 18 maps (one is missing), eight of which are in color. --- In brown cloth-covered boards with an image of an ancient ship and titling in brown to cover; gilt-stamped spine titling. This book has no dust jacket. --- A prior owner has pasted his name and school to front free endpaper, and with penciled notes at rear endpaper.
