Issued as part of the publisher's First Edition Society series which preceded the Alfred A. Knopf trade edition. One in a limited edition of an unspecified number of copies. --- Bound in full brown bonded leather covers with three raised bands on spine. Text presented on quality papers. Spine titling, elaborate decorations to covers and spine, and textblock edges all in bright gilt. Brown silk moire endpapers, with matching sewn-in satin ribbon placemarker. Volume lacks a dust jacket (as issued). --- A very nice copy: bright, newish and probably unread, but with tiny scuffs to edges of raised spine bands and slight scratches to textblock edge gilding.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; (14), 227 pages
