Includes a prefatory note by the author, who passed away prior to completing this novel. The last three chapters were fashioned by Willie Morris from notes taken of conversations with Jones. With illustrations by Howard Rogers. An entry in the publisher's First Edition Society series. --- In tan full bonded leather covers with gilt ornamentation stamped on front, back and spine; two raised bands on spine. All edges gilt. Interior with brown silk moire endpapers with matching sewn in satin ribbon placemarker. Issued as part of the publisher's First Edition Society series.
