Sandglass leaflet not present. --- In full pale grey cloth-covered boards with maroon decorations on covers & spine, gilt spine title oval, and maroon topstain. 1939 date appears on copyright page, but possibly published c.1940s-60s. Volume protected in maroon paper-covered slipcase. --- With mild darkening to spine and a 3 cm strip of dark soiling to front shoulder area; otherwise a bright and unmarked copy.
