Original hand-painted print from The Royal Game of Golf with printed artist's signature to bottom left; publisher's circular blind stamp to bottom right corner, which indicates this an originally hand-painted print published 1901. Royal coat of arms of Queen Victoria, put into use in 1837, to top right corner. Print depicts a woman in a rose print dress with a floral bonnet and holding a gold club by a golf ball. Light spotting and toning throughout, as well as light foxing to subject's face (see image). Framed in silver coated wooden frame. Frame: 21 x 29.75; Window: 13 x 21.75 inches. First Edition.
