Top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, ribbon marker bound in. Spine leather and top edges have sunned to brown. 66 pages total. The first part "Sayings." was a lecture delivered in part to the Belfast Natural History and Philosophical Society in December 1903. Pages 59-66 are devoted to "Ulsterisms" -- a paper contributed to "The Northern Whig" Belfast, May 8, 1901. With the bookplates of two former owners on front endpapers. The earliest is from The (Second) Earl of Dudley, William Humble Ward, who was the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland from 1902-1905.
