(8vo) original cloth-backed boards. Pacific-Union Club bookplate tipped-in on front pastedown. Holograph note from Treadwell's daughter, Leslie Green Huntington, who also wrote the Introduction, on both sides of monogramed card stock, white pasted in to gutter between first two blank endpapers. " My dear Mr. Barbour, it is a great pleasure to send my Father's book to you for the library of the Pacific Union Club. I feel that it will be a great addition . . . ".
