Faint scattered flecks of soil to cover; hint of darkening to spine. The colophon states: "This book was privately printed for Garfield D. Merner and is didicated by him to Flodden W. Heron in apperciation of a Stevenson Night given by Mr. Heron before the Roxburghe Club of San Francisco. It was printed by Cecil and James Johnson at The Windsor Press, San Francisco, set in Goudy Antique type. The photograph of the of the Stevenson Memorial was specially taken for this book by Ansel E.
