No stamps on the engravings and illustrations. 216 pp., (1)-21 notices of the press, letters, publisher's ad. Illustrated with 31 plates; 10 views of vessels including two frontispieces, the first a chromolighograph, the second tinted; portrait engraving of Stuart. Front board detached; spine cloth missing but covered with library glue over the cord binding. Contents holding together solidly; text and plates with tissue guards quite clean with only moderate toning at extremities.
