Moderate rubbing to cloth & age toned paper label; chips to top of spine with top front joint with repaired split, 1.5", and similar repair to front hinge. Remains solid overall. Drummond was a book collector and poet, with a gaze steadily on the past, or as Ben Jonson said, his "verses were good, "Save that they smelled too much of the Schools, and were not after the fancie of the time."
