Wow -- what a graphic! I'd have picked it up just for that, but it's also a souvenir from the 1940 World's Fair. Billy Rose's Aquacade was a glamorous show featuring gorgeous people, both men and women -- sort of a Ziegfield follies in water, though he referred to it as a water ballet. The funny part is that Rose endorsed his ads. The one I like best says (in Rose's own words), "Just taste one -- you'll see why I'm proud to have SPAMWICHES served at the Aquacade." Now THAT's what you'd call glam for sure! :-) Measuras 9"x12" and has 32 pages and three full page color ads -- Coke, Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and Chesterfield cigarettes. [ENT. BX 2 ]
