This little gem was a child's delight. When Mom got her copy of the Woman's Home Companion a full page (both sides) was devoted to Jack and Betty. Kids could remove the story and fold it into an eight page booklet as is shown here. All this one needs is to be cut at the bottom folds. Kids then could sew it so it would be bound. You can imagine what happened to most of these, so this is about as ephemeral as it gets! Booklet is completely intact with just two small edge tears which I repaired with almost invisible, non-browning archival tape.Folded it measures 5"x7-3/4". All color illustrations rendered by George Alfred Williams
