For those from Canton, Ohio, where the magazine originated, this is a nice local collectible in addition to being a less common woman's magazine of 1913. As you can see from the cover art by Olga T Heese, a magazine art is of the day, WWI is raging. Not only does the art serve as a reminder, but so do the contents. There's an article about helping the servicemen and even a page showing a half dozen "servantless" houses small enough to care for by oneself in hard times. Great ads, fiction, needlework, cooking etc. Magazine is huge at 11"x16" ans has 32 pages. The last page has completely toned, most likely because the high acid paper is covered by a color ad. Only other fault is a small loss of paper at lower back cover next to spine. Overall good.
