Pretty little gift book with a pebbled white faux leather cover which shows a bit of toning here and there and one small spot to back cover. Otherwise it's clean and tightly bound with 37 pages. No names or writing and no illustrations. This one caught my eye for its title (and, yes, the fact that I can't pass a vintage gift book by!), but also because it's presented as a fictional conversation about manners. As per the times, it does have a bit of a religious overtone, but it's primarily about behaving graciously in various settings. I especially liked an example where a wife was a telling a funny story and her cranky husband told her to sit up straight. The point was that not only was he rude to his spouse, but also spoiled the moment for everyone else. But the funniest part of it all is the last page!
