Here we have two very hard to find (especially the second volume) preliminary archaeological reports on The Lake Pleasant Project which was undertaken by the Arizona State Museum with the cooperation of the Arizona Highway Department in early 1970's. The earlier one focuses on the excavation of the Beardsley Canal Site, a colonial Hohokam village on the Agua Pria River in Central Arizona. The second does likewise but indicates the Lower Agua Pria River. Both booklets are very basic in design, but offer much information, plus photographs and drawings of the excavation and its finds. 35 pages collectively. Former owner's name written in pencil at front.
