A hard magazine to find, published in the U.K. but distributed in the United States, Canada and Australia too. Its founder was the poet, John Silkin, who also served as it's editor from the beginning, 1952, until his death in 1960. There is a poem in this issue written by him. Another name that jumped out at me is Adrian Mitchell, a poet who is associated with the British Left. This issue incorporates two other literary magazines, Three Arts Quarterly and North East Art Review. Includes poetry, fiction and literary criticism. 80 pages. Measures 6" tall and 8" wide. Magazine is tightly bound with just a little foxing to white back cover and raised areas on front spine due to staples.
