Very nice art catalog, tightly bound with no names or writing. Measures 8-1/2"x10" and printed on quality coated paper. The famous Mexican artist, Diego Rivera, had this to say about this photographer in 1930, "Alvarez Bravo has preferred photography to painting. It is possible that he may be right. In his work he arrives at a conclusion which before him nobody in Mexico dared to imagine." All works in black and white. 48 pages plus chronology and bibliography. Only faults are a shadow from small ill-considered price sticker to front and a little light toning to outer edge of back cover and a couple tiny spots.
