I love this magazine, but I have only ever had a few of them, which is odd because it was quite popular in its day. There are great ads throughout and it's always fun to see old books we know be new again. But the articles are the thing -- they're diverse and wonderful in each issue. This issue has a story by Edgar Allan Poe titled "William Wilson." Articles focus on on women and work with an article about women's colleges and their female executives, plus a story about women telehone operators, a job created by new technology. Another article is about the split personality and literature and a fun story about the then-current postcard mania. There's more, but those are the big ones. Magazines measures 6-3/4"x9-3/4" and is a half inch thick. Still fun to read over a century later. Magazine shows edgewear, but is tightly bound and clean.
