Beautiful, high quality magazine printed on glossy paper and illustrated in full color. The profiles and features of the month are these: Dan Hemann of California, animals in bronze; Desmond O'Hagan (Denver) daily scenes rendered in pastels; Bruce A. Aiken striated colors of the Grand Canyon; Gerald Brommer (California) experiemental watercolorist; and Michael Coleman (Utah) goache and oil paintings of Native Americans and wildlife. But the surprise is an article about two southwest painters, Guy Rose of California (1867-1925)and James T. Harwood of Utah (1860-1940), both of whom went to Paris to study at Academy Julian.
