The Groundwork of the Leschetizky Method (Piano, 1905)

Very handsome and substantial piano book, oversized at 9 x 12-1/2" with 99 pages of text, plus an additional 21 pages at back. What makes this one a standout is the instructional photographs -- large close-up shots showing finger placements which make it easier to learn. There are 47 in all, each a view of Leschetizky's own hand. The book has penciled notes on most pages which could be erased if desired, but I have learned over the years that music books can in fact be enhanced by notes.
