This booklet is something of a plain Jane, but it's filled with 16 pages of dense text including a bibliography. It's also scarce. There is much history here beginning with the arrival of Captain William Hilton in 1663 followed three years later by Captain Robert Sanford. Much reference is also made to "Our Family Circle" which includes South Carolina families headed by Lindgrave Thomas Smith, French Huguenot pastor Pierre Robert, Littleberry Bostick, Capt. William Lawton, Paul Grimall, Capt. James Erwin, Col. William Stafford and Captains Samuel and William Maner. Booklet measurs 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Very clean and tightly bound with no names or writing. Only fault is a small light stain to front cover.
