This small pamphlet is one of a large collection prepared for, and sold individually at, the U.S.S.R. Pavilion at the 1939 New York World's Fair. They're propaganda of course, but some are less than others. All measure 4-1/2"x 5-3/4". This one contains five black and white photographs with a total of 30 pages. The author was a coal miner who created a pneumatic pick which made mining easier and faster. Here he tells how it has improved the industry.
