Very elegant booklet, designed with a simple beauty. Only 400 of these ran off the press in 1965, so they aren't turning up everywhere. What caught my attention is how relevant the subject is in today's resurgence of fine presses and small-run books and booklets. Blumenthal was the founder of The Spiral Press, a historian, a designer, and a fine printer. The booklet hads a white card cover and its own grey dustjacket, both of which are pristine. It measures 5-1/4"x8" and has 19 pages of text. This is a wonderful addition to a collection of books about books.
