What a fun coloring book for anyone crazy about early aviation. Amongst the examples waiting to be made beautiful are Orville Wright's plane from 1903, the Spirit of St. Louis, WWI German bombers, a flying boat and much more. All drawings were made by Peter F. Copeland who at the time of publication was Chief of the Illustration Department for the Smithsonian. NONE of the pages have been colored. The book measures 8" x 11-1/2" and has 41 counted pages. One small defect is a blank name sticker (see photo) on the first page. The only other issue is a manufacturing defect -- the lamination on the front cover does not go all the way across to the side edge of the front cover, resulting in a thin line at the edge.
