Christopher Morley is best known for his books, The Haunted Bookshop and Parnassus on Wheels, but this little gem is fun too. There's even several verses that can be sung to the tune of "Ta-Ra-Ra-Boom-De-ay." I'm not making it up either -- Morley said so himself! Though the book is not a stated first edition, there's one point that gives it credibility -- the word Plaza was printed PLAza on the last page. The booklet is clean and tightly bound with just a few tiny spots of edge wear along the front cover at the side (see photo). It measures 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" and has 64 pages of frivolity with humorous verse, pithy commentary, and a bit of longer prose. Would make a lovely gift for a Morley fan.
