Mildred Cram was a popular writer whose books several times landed on the silver screen. Once Tyrone Power was cast in a movie based on one of her stories and told a reporter that she was his favorite author. The dustjacket blurb is practically breathless in its praise for this one--"the story of a woman and a man who plunged beyond death and brought back the answer to the riddle of life." It appears to be a Christmas story. The book itself is clean and nice with a small name at top corner of front free endpaper. The dustjacket shows wear to both lower front corners with a few tiny nicks to back and a small stain to spine. It looks very handsome in a brand new mylar cover as pictured. Book measures 5" x 7-1/2" with 68 pages ending on an upbeat note. (GB2)
