Messale Festiva Latino-Italiano (Catholic Missal 1964)

This is an unusual little Catholic missal which measures a charming 3" wide and 5" tall. I'm not sure whether the boards are celluloid, or actual wood which has been given a beveled edge and a plasticized finish. I'm leaning towards the latter, but can't prove it. The spine is a leather-like surface and outer page edges are inked in red as per design. The type is good sized and the text is in both Latin and Italian. The previous owner's name is written on the title page, but I can't decipher it, though I do know he was in Jordan, Jerusalem. The front cover of the book has a carved design and the word Jerusalem and the back cover says Bethlehem. 510 pages, plus index.
