There are six pieces of fiction, and articles about curling in Scotland, the battle of the American airports for dominance, "Men and Guns at Iwo Jima; and more. The main story, however, is that written by the playwright, Lillian Hellman. She met the Front Line Russians, officers and men on the Eastern Front, and was entertained nicely by them. Color ads for Bendix Radio, Good Year, Champion Spark Plugs, and Camel cigarettes on the back cover. The Camel ad presented Donna Atwood, a 1945 star of the Ice Capades.
