Very nice clean booklet extolling the interesting photographs of Otto Ping, a Brown County citizen who was no photographer, nor artist, nor technician -- he just liked to take pictures. Critics think he had numerous problems with his pohotography and yet in the 1960's when Ping was no longer a shutterbug he worked with Professor Hartley who encouraged him to hang on to his enire life's work, which Ping did.The essay in front tells more about him and is followed by a colelction of his best sepia photographs enchanced with descriptions. Book measures 8-1/2" x 10" with 94 pages plus a bibliography. (Hist. III)
