Postcard Market Street Palace Hotel San Francisco, California

Bright, color saturated view of San Francisco's Market Street with the spotlight on the Palace Hotel in the foreground. Also of interest are the trolleys painted in sherbet hues. An exceptionally pretty card. It's amazing that this card was ever postmarked though because the sender provided two different names and addresses. The first one omits the state and shortens the name of the town. I know it was supposed to be Springfield, Ohio because I have had many postcards addressed to this recipient. Mesasage reads "Drove on this street the Sunday we went to Golden Gate Park. Ate lunch in the Cliff House on the ocean front and had tea and cakes in the Oriental Garden. Took a nice drive along the coast. Have been to the Yosemite National Park, a marvelous place. Amy V." Card will arrive in a brand new plastic sleeve.
